For Camille, a HBCU transfer student to North State University, joining a White Greek-lettered organization could mean committing social suicide. But when Nu Pi Phi begins recruiting her, the journalism major passes for White reporting the inside scoop on an anonymous blog through the campus network.
When Eva, president of Delta Kappa Zeta, a historically Black sorority,
connects Camille to the blog, she is torn between race loyalty and
Greek loyalty. The blog stops, but to Eva’s surprise Camille shows up
to the DKZ rush.
In a search for sisterhood, these students discover that elite sorority life, for Blacks and Whites, may be more than they pledged a commitment to.
